Meet Me Where I’m At: Forest City Gallery (MMWIA : FCG) is an opportunity to build and strengthen community bonds through artistic practice. From September 3 - October 1, MMWIA : FCG will take over the Pier Space Gallery with live studio drawing sessions each week. The content, direction, and site information that you provide from your enthusiastic social media participation, your creative exploration of Ross Park, and our in-person site and gallery interactions, are not merely the body of data in service of the month-long evolving mixed media drawing set. Instead, each interaction we have, real or virtual, from July to October, is another opportunity to strengthen social cohesion and community. These interactions are the “tail wagging the dog.”
